Bar-Wrapped pipe manufactured in in accordance with AWWA Manual M9 offers rugged durability, minimal maintenance, and a long service life—all which adds up to an excellent value. Principally used in the transmission and distribution of water in municipal, industrial, and agricultural systems, as well as the conveyance of seawater and sewage in force mains, CCP is a lightweight pipe with bottle-tight joints available in a variety of configurations.



Bar-Wrapped Concrete Cylinder Pipe (CCP) combines a steel cylinder lined with cement mortar, helically wrapped mild steel bar for reinforcement, and a dense cement mortar coating. It unites the inherent strength of steel and the passivating characteristics of cement mortar lining and coating for long-term protection against corrosion.

Since its introduction in the 1940s, Bar-Wrapped Concrete Cylinder Pipe (CCP) has been widely used across Western North America. A main reason for its popularity is its ease of install, which has led to over 10,000 miles of pipe installed since 1970.
