Power and Communications Vaults by NWPX Geneva are durable precast concrete structures built to meet the unique needs of underground electrical and communications infrastructure. Designed to securely house power cables, fiber-optic lines, transformers, switchgear, and junction equipment, our vaults support a wide range of dry utility applications. NWPX Geneva supplies PacifiCorp-approved electrical padvaults for projects within Pacific Power and Rocky Mountain Power service territories, helping engineers, contractors, and project owners meet utility requirements while simplifying the specification, design, and approval processes.
Manufactured in a controlled factory environment at NPCA-certified plants, NWPX Geneva precast concrete power and communications vaults are built for long-term performance under demanding site conditions. Our vaults are constructed of steel reinforced concrete and available in standard and custom sizes to accommodate specific equipment dimensions, access requirements, and utility configurations. Options include traffic-rated access hatches, lockable lids, ventilation, waterproofing, fire protection, grounding and shielding systems, and seismic or wind-load considerations. All vaults are produced in accordance with applicable ASTM and AASHTO standards and are designed to support NEC and CEC compliance for electrical utility installations.
