About the Job


Under direct supervision the laborer is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations in the plant. Their duties include loading and unloading pipe while assembling various things.  Assists in the departmental safety efforts and works collaboratively with other members of the department and production counterparts to ensure production workflow. Performance is expected to be at an entry level capacity.

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks involving manual labor.
  • Follows all safety and company policies / procedures and promotes a safe culture
  • Maintain safe conditions by following safety guidelines and procedures
  • Assists with painting pipe and cleaning rings as instructed
  • Ensures paint operation processes are maintained and running effectively to meet production, quality and delivery requirements
  • Help maintain a clean jobsite by picking up and storing tools and equipment.
  • Perform materials handling and storage.
  • Helps Load and unload trucks.
  • Follow all safety rules and report any unsafe conditions to the Leads or supervisors.
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is necessary in order to perform the essential functions of this position
Education/Experience
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
