About the Job

The primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of the primary Human Resources Information System, UKG Workforce Dimensions, and other systems used in Human Resources to support the Company’s operating objectives and people management goals.  This position serves as the department’s day-to-day technical point-of-contact and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities
  • Provides daily operation and technical support to end-users in HRIS systems
  • Partners with other members of the HR team to maintain quality, consistency and integrity of HRIS data
  • Assists with troubleshooting, analyzing, identifying and correcting technical problems and deficiencies
  • Partners with HR and other departments within the company to identify data reporting needs and opportunities
  • Runs scheduled reports and creates reports as needed
  • Evaluates regularly requested information to identify opportunities to improve the management reporting dashboard
  • Identifies opportunities for improving Human Resources processes Assists with development of training curriculum and conducts formal and informal training sessions regarding the HRIS as directed
  • Assists with administration related to performance and review of internal controls pertaining to the HRIS system and HRIS data

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Assists with testing, implementing, maintaining and enhancing HRIS modules, setup / structure and security testing
  • Identifies, recommends, and helps to develop business process improvements, Human Resources processes and guidelines using information systems
  • Other duties pertaining to special projects within the broader Human Resources function as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Demonstrate good customer service and project management skills
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing using language understandable to management staff and hourly production employees as needed
  • Work effectively with vendors, clients, users and management
  • Report development, coding and design
  • Business system applications
  • Principles and techniques of systems quality assurance and control
  • Technical problem solving techniques
  • Principles of project management, documentation, and technical correspondence
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate to advanced level
  • Work independently in identifying and resolving issues, concerns and problems
  • Use troubleshooting and analytical skills; oversee corrections read, interpret and apply complex technical documentation
  • Analyze, evaluate and integrate business processes and procedures
  • Accept work assignments from multiple managers and work areas, handling multiple and parallel projects
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Computer Science or other closely related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • One to three years of HRIS or HR generalist experience.
  • Experience with workforce dimensions or UKG HRIS applications and/or SAP is preferred
